I think the original idea of the mission was to include some aerial mission. An idea that came to my mind when reading this suggestion: - Keep it an andromada, like your suggestion the mission can be started from any airport. - Instead of delivering the andromada to another airport, the andro can airdrop crates to a selected location on the map. - 3 difficulties. Easy mode is 2 airdrops, medium 4 and hard 6. - The andromada needs to fly over the drop zone and the crate would be the same as the one medics can drop (with parachute). - Teams would need to 'secure' the crate; to make sure everyone engages, it acts like a tiny turf. You'd need to 'win' the crate in order to get paid. The opposing side can steal the crate. ----- Scenarios/things to keep in mind: - Andromada gets destroyed before the crate gets dropped: a new andromada can be spawned for a new drop, but one of the drop locations becomes visible on the map. (Randomly or the location the andro was closest to) - The more crates you capture, the more money you earn. Perhaps 25k per crate? The advantage of hosting it would be knowing where the crates drop. - This works for both: respected group tactics as you can select your own dropzones. Aerial fights as shooting down the andro gives valuable intelligence. - The whole mission can take max 30 min, if nobody captures the crate within that time the missions fails. - Multiple crates can be dropped at once, the pilot decides to drop by pressing H when in the dropzone. - The turf works by counting players from x side inside and the hoster has tiebreaker advantage. If cops are hosting: 6+ cops vs 6 crims inside the crate area would mean the % goes up, 5 cops vs 6 criminals means the % goes down. - Another advantage that the hosters could have is that capture % starts at 25% instead of 0 so it cannot be lost immediately

I agree with Ratchet on this, using Shamal is a simple solution for a short turn, but also too small to be struck in the air, and this small size (although unlikely) will cause problems when the population arriving for the mission is large, as it doesn't have as much space as Andromeda. In this case, fixing Andromeda's bugs (if it can be done) or looking for other solutions seems more reasonable to me. When you said that the name of the mission should be changed, I thought of a simple solution to make this mission “engaging” for other players, a cargo unloading sequence can be started when the plane lands, you can think of it as a player other than the pilot cracking near the hangar, while one player is doing this, others can defend the cracker (cargo unloader).

Explanation of your suggestion: My suggestion is to completely rework the Andromada mission. This includes its core - the Andromada plane itself. So, first, I'll list some of the current issues with the mission: it pays too little (max is only 30k), so it's not exactly motivating for players to participate; it's unengaging for everyone except the main pilot and the players covering/attacking the plane; it requires too many players to start; its success rate is pretty bad, for both sides, mainly because the plane itself is too easy to destroy. My suggestion, as aforementioned, is completely reworking the mission, and it involves: Adding some "lore" or "purpose" behind the mission, like for example delivering supplies. It can be a little text or something, or even the mission name could be changed to "Deliver Supplies" or "Supply Drop" - open to other suggestions regarding this. Replacing the Andromada with Shamal. Hear me out, the Shamal is smaller and more agile, but still not as fast or as agile as a Hydra, so players who are willing to rent, or pilots in T or Military would still be able to destroy it, except it won't be as easy as destroying the Andro. The HP of the plane should be higher than a normal Shamal, maybe around 500hp? Open to suggestions regarding this. Being able to start the mission from any of the three major airports to add more diversity. For example, both sides could use tactics like regrouping at one airport and then teleporting to another to start the mission. Reducing the player amount required to start the mission from 10 to 5, so it's hosted more frequently as opposed to now. Adding a new requirement to have at least 1 player from the opposing respected group(s) on duty. Adding 2 levels to the mission (similar to AT). The first level would involve delivering the plane to one of the major airports. The second level would involve delivering the plane to a second location. ABAP and the "other" SF airport could be included as second locations as well. The delivery locations should be random and different, again, for more diversity. Increasing the monetary reward to 60k for level 1, and 90k for level 2, to make it more worthwhile for players to participate. Changing the way the monetary reward is accounted. Right now, you need to be within the plane's radius the entire time to get paid the full amount. However, this is unfair to players who rent/cover the mission. So, IMO making it the same as the other missions (SC, AM, AT) would work best, i.e. players within the radius when delivering would get the full reward. PS. The one thing I can't think of is how to make it more "engaging" for the rest of the players, but I think increasing the monetary reward should be plenty of motivation. Why do you think your suggestion should be added?: Think I've already covered it. If anyone has other ideas they'd like to share, or their general feedback on the suggestion, please do so.
